Something went buggy on my system yesterday (not a virus or anything, it was a result of user [read: my] stupidity) and I ended up having to reinstall the OS from scratch. Now I've a few more hours of software installation in front of me to get everything back the way I want it.
On the bright side, I guess, I spent a lot of the 2K and 2K service pack install deadtime reading Steven Pinker's How The Mind Works and writing a short essay on evolution, intelligence, and how they apply to moral responsibility. Yeah, I was bored.
